David ShortlandDedicated to writing, recording and performing high quality music, this musician has amassed 25 years of original composition and live performance experience 

During his extensive career, David has been involved in many projects, from writing sound tracks for short films, to performing live at every opportunity, to creating new lines of children’s entertainment. 

His accomplishments include: 
Associate Diploma of Music, Classical Piano, Queensland Conservatorium 1979. 
5 years Private Music Teacher. 
10 years touring with covers and originals bands in Queensland & Interstate. 
Piano Bar and Event Performances in West Australia 1989. 
11 years Australian Meatloaf Tribute Show - A collection of accomplished and experienced performers, dedicated to presenting the popular compositions of the great Jim Steinman. 
25 years song writing, recording and studio work.
Creator of ‘The Haunted House’ children’s musical, including composition of all music and lyrics, co-writer of all dialogue, and creative control of set, puppet & costume design. 
Currently composing five songs for a 30 minute live performance show promoting the South Australian Royal Society for the Blind’s primary school vision impairment awareness program, 3VI, featuring the Three Blind Mice.
