Roushini
Roushini

Entertainer; Bollywood dancer; Bollywood fun and fitness instructor; 
Workshop presenter 

Roushini is passionate about being a positive role model for children and 
adults, and promoting active and healthy lifestyles. She has incorporated 
her rich Indian culture, qualifications, experience and knowledge into 
shows and workshops combining inclusion and positive learning 
environments, where all ages can have fun and develop a multitude of 
skills. 

Roushini has a Diploma in Early Childhood, Community and Human Services 
and brings over 20 years experience of working with children aged from 
0-12 years old. She is a registered PSCQ workshop presenter, has public 
and indemnity liability insurances and holds a current Blue Card.

"Bollywood fun and Fitness" with Indian cultural experiences, has 
Education Queensland Accreditation incursion for P-Year 7. The program 
offers an unique opportunity for teachers and students to engage in 
Cultural Learning in a fun manner. It also complements the Performing 
Arts and Physical Education Departments! It is a platform for building 
students' self-confidence and social skills. This program is also highly 
recommended for individuals with special needs including people in 
wheelchairs.

The session can be a wonderful addition or alternative program for the school's performing arts and sports programs.  The program covers areas of cultural learning, dance and physical education. The program is curriculum based, meeting Outcomes /Essential learning within the Queensland Education syllabus.

Current incursions for children 0-12 years:
* Holiday to India show Bollywood style, for children aged 15 months to 5 years 
* Primary school accredited incursion, Bollywood with Indian culture, Prep-year 7 
* Bollywood is coming to you - 2 hours vacation care program, for 5-12 year olds

Current Workshops/in-service for Educators: 
* Educators multicultural in-service, 0-5 and 5-12 year olds

Roushini's most popular workshops for all occasions: 
* "Bollywood fun and fitness" for all ages (including people with special needs) 
* "Spice up your life with Indian cooking" 
* "Bollywood Bling" - make your own colourful hand and foot jewellery. 

Roushini travels around Queensland and Interstate delivering her workshops and shows.           

She is available for Primary schools, vacation care, festivals and other events.
