Gerard Langridge

Gerard Langridge has worked as a successful actor, director, extra, clown, costume character and script-rioter for many years In Victoria. He worked with the Brunswick Theatre Company in 1995 with the Pantomime "Humpty Dumpty" playing Rodrick an assistant to Duke Ralf of Rottenberg. The act included conducting evil activities, socialising at the palace and stealing Humpty Dumpty's egg cup and helping Duke Ralph to spoil all the King Walde's goods, mars bars, lollies and more by serving Duke Ralf. At the Stonnington Theatre Company "Mother Courage" Production in 1996 Gerard played an old Catholic Colonel, and later that year also performed in the One-Act play Festival. Gerard directed and wrote the entire front entrance for "Squatters", also playing the Hat and coat stand. In the Attitude Concert 2001 he played a live portrait, and in the 2002 concert he did a cleaning lady skit. In 2003 Gerard did clowning at the "Art of Difference" at Gasworks Art Park, clowned at the Nunawading Swimming Pool and was a posy doll at the Gasworks Art Park helping fundraise. He is a regular performer at festivals and fund-raising events and is currently working on establishing an arts network.
